Description
Vapride is used for hemostasis in the treatment of acute esophageal variceal bleeding (EVB) and before endoscopic interventional therapy. It can also prevent the recurrence of bleeding within 5 days after endoscopic treatment. Vaporopeptide is the first somatostatin analogue that exhibits the effect of acute variceal bleeding. It can produce specific organ vasoconstriction. This effect can be effectively used for hemostasis of acute gastrointestinal bleeding, as well as for the treatment of prostate cancer and acromegaly.
